Hotel Girassol - Suite Hotel, Funchal (Madeira)

The hotel is located near the Lido complex with a great view of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, but a mirror for us ladies near the socket point would have been appreciated. The service was friendly overall, with particularly pleasant receptionists. The location is superb, right in the main tourist area with easy access to shops and restaurants. The dining experience was a mix of good and disappointing meals. The facilities offer plenty of sunbeds and a pleasant pool area.
